Two Hour Violence Prevention
Certification Course

Mandated for New York State Certification

The Two-Hour Violence Prevention Certification Course is held monthly during the school year. Training deliveries are also held during the summer. Please contact our office at the telephone number below for the summer training schedule. Training deliveries are held from 4:00-6:00 P.M. from September - June at :

Certificates will be issued on-site following each delivery.

Directions To Western Suffolk BOCES, Divisio of Instructional Services, -31 Lee Avenue, Wheatley Heights, New York:

From -the Long Island Expressway:  Get off the LIE at exit 50, Bagatelle Road. Head South on Bagatelle Road for approximately 2 miles. Make a left onto Lee Avenue (Blinking Red Light). School is on the corner of Lee Avenue and Bagatelle Road. Go to 3^rd entrance and proceed to second parking lot.

 

From Southern State Parkway:  Get off the Southern State Parkway  at exit 36 North. (Wyandanch/ Straight Path, North)  Travel on Straight Path approximately 3 miles to 18^th Street and make a left. Follow 18^th Avenue over the rail road tracks. Continue until the end, which is Lee Avenue. Make a left at Lee Avenue and proceed 1/8 mile to parking lot entrance.. Make 1^st right into parking lot and proceed to second parking lot.

 

Enter doorway labeled “Instructional Service Offices”.  Sign-in at reception desk. Resource Library is 1^st door on left, directly opposite receptionist.
